The Warner Springs Airport is one of the premier glider ports in southwest United States.  We are also considering expanding the airport runway width and length to  allow for other private planes in the future.  The glider planes will  continue to operate and offer sail plane experiences five days a week  along with glider lessons and tours. 

Sail Planes
Wow, what an eye opener! Take a professionally guided sail-plane ride over scenic Lake Henshaw, a few miles west of the Ranch and surrounding mountains.  The privately owned operation will take you up and over some of the most beautiful untouched areas of San Diego County.
